Logo Design (contest entry)

The City of Hermosa Beach held a contest encouraging local artists and designers to submit designs to refresh their city logo. My design reflects the beach city heritage emphasized by the blue (representing water), and shades of yellow/orange (sunshine). A wave is used as the crossbar in the "H" and "A" representing the city's surf culture. Finally, the city's iconic "windmill" was redesigned to reflect the creative energy of the city.
